Interim Financial Accountant

Role - Interim Senior Financial Accountant Location: Appleton (3 days on-site) Rate: £350–£500 per day Start: Immediate

The Opportunity

An established asset management business is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to support the finance function during a period of increased activity. This is a hands-on interim role, ideal for an accountant who can add value quickly within a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of monthly management accounts

• Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close

• Support statutory reporting and audit processes

• Assist with financial controls, policies, and process improvements

• Partner with internal stakeholders to provide accurate financial information

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls

Candidate Profile

• (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)

• Strong financial accounting background, ideally within asset management or financial services

• Proven experience in interim or contract roles

• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems

• Able to work independently and hit the ground running

• Comfortable working on-site 3 days per week in Appleton
