Location: Redditch
Contract: 9-month fixed term
Salary: £50,000 (permanent equivalent)
Working Pattern: 5 days onsite

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join our team on a 9-month contract. This role is ideal for a proactive finance professional who can hit the ground running and provide robust financial support during a key period for the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to inform business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and company policies.
• Assist with year-end processes and liaise with auditors as required.
• Provide insightful analysis to senior management to drive performance improvements.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts and oversee accruals/prepayments.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function.

Skills & Experience Required

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in management accounting within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
