Financial Accountant

We are starting the sourcing process ahead of time to identify top talent ready to take on a pivotal role in overseeing financial accounting processes, ensuring the integrity of the Group’s general ledger, and delivering robust financial information. Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:
- Maintain the integrity of the Group’s financial information through reconciliation and financial accounting activities.
- Deliver Group financial information on a timely and accurate basis.
- Lead the production of the Group VAT return.
- Act as a role model for the Assistant Accountants and provide coaching and skills development support.
- Support the Senior Accountant with review of junior team members’ work.
- Contribute to Financial Control change agenda.
- Manage the preparation of subsidiary accounts for the group.
- Maintain effective working relationships with key internal providers.
- Drive continuous improvement within Group accounting.
- Ensure process documentation is maintained for all key processes in team.
Key essentials of the Financial Accountant:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Proven communication and relationship-building skills
- Advanced Excel skills
