Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Manchester City Centre (hybrid following training) Up to £55,000 DOE An opportunity has arisen to join the finance function of a globally recognised manufacturing organisation. This role will suit somebody recently qualified who has a real career plan and development goals.

You will be joining a market-leading organisation as a Senior Accountant and become part of a dynamic, international team that’s shaping the future of finance across the globe. You will join a diverse professional Finance Shared Service Centre team providing accounting services to various entities.

Key Duties:

• Overall ownership for all general ledger processes for various entities across the group
• Analysing financial data and presenting findings to senior management clearly and concisely
• Business partnering with finance leadership team and other stakeholders by linking business decisions to accounting processes
• Driving process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy and quality in accounting practices
• Assisting with the training and development of other members of staff

About You:

• Fully -qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - a lot of this role will be partnering with non-finance team members
• Good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
