RTR Accountant

RTR Accountant Salford-based - generous hybrid model Up to £60,000 DOE Robert Walters are delighted to be partnered with a large, award winning Shared Service Centre based in Salford as they seek to appoint an RTR Accountant on a permanent basis.

The purpose of this role is to execute and finalise the detailed inter-company reconciliation across group global entities monthly, rigorously investigating and resolving variances to ensure accurate net balances are reported.

Key Duties:

• Manage and deliver timely and accurate Oracle Fusion inter-company accounting activities, ensuring smooth completion of month-ends and year-ends
• Perform detailed inter-company reconciliations across UK Fusion entities, rigorously investigating and resolving all complex variances and discrepancies
• Manage and deliver timely and accurate accounting entries with supporting documentation, adhering strictly to accounting standards and relevant internal controls
• Process all necessary inter-company settlement and elimination journals within the Oracle Fusion ERP system
• Ensure that inter-company accounting processes are consistent, fully compliant, and efficient
• Act as a point of contact for external audit activities, providing necessary inter-company documentation and explanations during financial audits
• Work collaboratively with other RTR team members

About You:

• Qualified Accountant (ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with several years of relevant post-qualification experience
• Proven, in-depth Inter-company accounting experience with a strong understanding of complex reconciliations and settlement procedures
• Proficiency in accounting software, with direct experience using Oracle Fusion ERP highly preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to work accurately and effectively under tight deadlines (e.g., month-end close)
