Interim Senior Finance Analyst (6 months)

Job: Senior Finance Analyst (6 month contract) Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire Day rate: £350-£450pd Length of contract: 6 months

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Senior Finance Analyst to join a dynamic team in St Albans.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the development of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
• Delivering accurate monthly reporting, including management accounts, variance analysis, and KPIs
• Conducting financial analysis to inform strategic decisions, improve profitability, and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Providing financial input for investment appraisals, including modelling, scenario planning, and risk assessment
• Ensuring compliance with financial controls and support audit activities
• Optimising reporting tools and dashboards in partnership with wider teams.
• Driving continuous improvement and standardisation in FP&A processes

The ideal candidate will have:

• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualifications or equivalent
• Proven track record in FP&A, business partnering or management accounting
• Strong knowledge of Excel and financial systems, including SAP and Power BI is desirable
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical mindset

The client is offering £350pd-£450pd and offers hybrid work.
