Management Accountant

Our client is seeking a diligent and structured Management Accountant to join their dynamic team on an initial 3 month contract with the potential to turn permanent. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, ensuring their accuracy and reliability.

What you'll do:

As a Management Accountant, your primary responsibility will be the production of accurate and reliable monthly management accounts. You will play a crucial role in preparing payroll journals, bank reconciliations, and assisting with the implementation of new processes and procedures.

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L analysis and commentary
  • Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Identifying and posting accruals and prepayments
  • Preparation of payroll journals
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Developing and maintaining robust controls and processes
  • Working closely with Financial Accountant and External Auditors in the preparation of statutory accounts
  • Assisting with implementing new processes and procedures

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant position brings a wealth of experience in management accounting along with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Being part qualified or fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent is essential for this role.

  • Part qualified or Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent
  • 2-5 years experience in Management Accounting
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel
  • Oracle experience would be an advantage but is not essential
  • Highly organised, diligent, and structured individual with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Enthusiastic with a positive mindset
