Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Accountant to join our finance team based in Alcester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in accounting systems and financial management to play a key role in improving and maintaining our financial systems. As a Systems Accountant, you will work closely with various departments to ensure smooth system integration, optimize processes, and support the overall financial reporting function. This position requires a strong attention to detail, technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage and troubleshoot accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support the accounting systems, ensuring data accuracy and system efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate financial systems with other business processes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of system upgrades and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide resolutions to prevent disruptions in financial operations.
• Work with the finance team to prepare and produce accurate financial reports and analysis.
• Train and support users on the proper use of financial systems.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations within the systems.
• Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
• Provide ad-hoc system-related reports and analysis to senior management as required.
