This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional to take ownership of key financial processes, drive efficiencies, and support decision-making in a highly collaborative environment. 📍 Location: Birmingham 💼 Position: Management Accountant 📅 Full-Time | Hybrid (2 days on-site) 💰 Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

• Monthly Accounts: Prepare monthly cashflow analysis, review variances, deferred income releases, and consortia accounts
• Balance Sheet Management: Conduct monthly reviews
• Project & Intercompany Accounts: Work with Project Managers to align payments, reconcile intercompany balances, and prepare key reports
• Statutory & Tax Compliance: Assist with year-end reporting, liaise with auditors, and manage VAT returns and tax payments
• Board & Operational Reporting: Prepare financial statements, board reports, and operational models, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Key Essentials of the Management Accountant:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
• Excellent organisation and multitasking skills to manage multiple stakeholders
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and financial reporting tools
