Interim Operational Accountant

Interim Accountant - up to 6 months Warrington Based - £320 - £340 per day (inside IR35 inclusive of holiday pay)

I am delighted to be exclusively partnered with one of our most longstanding clients, a specialist service organisation based in South Warrington.

Due to continued growth and a predicted busy period, they are in need of an Interim Accountant to join the team for up to 6 months. This will be a fast-paced, varied role. You will be involved in all month-end procedures and will be expected to present information to management.

You will be joining a brilliant finance team - award-winning and longstanding.

Specific Responsibilities and Objectives:

• Oversee production of the weekly contract management reporting including presentation of the results with explanation on variances to plan to GM, Operational Director and Operational Team.
• Oversee production of the weekly client management reporting including presentation of the results with explanation on variances to plan to client management
• Oversee month end close and production of the Sectors monthly reporting pack - both P&L and Balance Sheet
• Oversee month end close and production of the clients monthly reporting packs
• Quarterly forecast process, presentation of results to Operations Director and FD
• All aspects of the annual budget process ensuring that results are delivered to the timetable set by the organisation
• Production of clients Budget and Forecasts to be produced in line with timetables as issued by the clients
• Financial business partner to the Operations Director supporting them in all financial aspects of his business
• Management of financial risk including sign off of contracted new business streams and support of aged debt recovery
• Development of the financial reporting suite to ensure that it meets the businesses requirements and represents industry best practice
• Head up financial projects specific to the Sector

In order to be considered for this role you will be:

• Available within a week's notice
• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
• Experienced in a similar role (ideally 3 years+ as a minimum)
• An excellent inter-company communicator
