Management Accountant

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT Salary: c£55,000 Location: Mostly remote with some travel to Bedfordshire required

Our client is seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

What you'll do:

As a Management Accountant, your role will be key in maintaining the financial health of the company. You will take charge of preparing monthly management and annual statutory accounts.

Responsibilities will include:

* Prepare monthly management accounts packs with commentary.

* Prepare the annual statutory accounts

* Work on improving processes and systems

* Partner with the wider business.

* Manage the fixed asset register.

* Assist in ad hoc projects as required.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant position brings experience within a technical accounting role and be proactive in improving processes.

* Financial Qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)

* Excellent organisational and planning skills

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

* Proactive approach with demonstrated system/process improvements

* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

* Familiar with IFRS16

This is a mostly remote role, with some travel to Bedfordshire required.

The salary on offer is c£55,000 DOE.
