Interim Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Interim Management Accountant to join a passionate and dedicated team. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will be leveraged to ensure accurate month-end accounting and prepare financial reporting. With a competitive salary of £250-300 per day, this position is based in Birmingham and promises an engaging and rewarding experience. Location: Birmingham (Hybrid) Contract length: 6 months Contract hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week Salary: £250 - 300 per day (inside IR35)

Key Responsibilities of the Interim Finance Business Partner Manager

• Prepare and review accurate month-end journals including prepayments and accruals

• Ensure transactions are accounted for in line with applicable financial reporting standards

• Identify intercompany transactions to support reconciliation and group consolidation

• Produce management reports summarising financial performance

• Review leases for accurate accounting under IFRS 16

• Manage expenses and credit card transaction postings including reconciliation at month-end

Key Essentials of the Interim Finance Business Partner Manager

• Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

• Experience with SAP is preferable but not essential

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and technical knowledge

• Experience of reporting under IFRS is desirable

• Excellent organisational and communication skills
