Our client is seeking a highly capable Assistant Management Accountant to join their team in Coventry. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual who is eager to gain exposure to all areas of management accounting, while also providing support in transactional purchase ledger, intercompany, balance sheets, sales ledger, fixed asset management, and stock management. The successful candidate will be a well-rounded individual who is ready to get involved in everything. This role comes with a competitive salary of £33,000.

What you'll do:
As an Assistant Management Accountant, your role will be integral to the smooth operation of our client's accounting department. You will handle a variety of responsibilities ranging from managing transactional purchase ledgers to overseeing fixed asset management. Your keen understanding of management accounting will be crucial as you navigate through intercompany transactions and maintain balance sheets. Additionally, you will manage sales ledgers and take charge of stock management. Your ability to adapt and willingness to assist in all areas will make you a valuable member of the team.
* Support the team in managing transactional purchase ledgers
* Handle intercompany transactions and maintain balance sheets
* Manage sales ledgers and oversee fixed asset management
* Take charge of stock management and ensure accurate record keeping
* Assist in other areas as needed to ensure smooth operation of the accounting department
* Work closely with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
