Our client is seeking a dedicated and high-performing Supply Chain Finance Business Partner to join their team based in Warrington. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support and partner the Head of Distribution, delivering excellent analytical and reporting information to drive commercial decisions. You will be working closely with other finance teams and external supply chain business partners, driving efficiency in both warehouse and transport operation
What you'll do:
As a Supply Chain Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Distribution. Your responsibilities will include producing value-added reports that arm business partners with relevant information for commercial decision-making. You will present key themes facing the business at management meetings, support the investment agenda, work closely with other finance teams, review external provider performance, produce and present annual budget meetings, and support the production of monthly management accounts.
- Support the production of value-added reporting for commercial decision making
- Present key themes facing the business at management meetings
- Support the investment agenda including investment appraisal and post-implementation reviews
- Work closely with other finance teams to deliver annual planning cycles (reforecasts, budgets & 5-year plan)
- Review external provider performance on a weekly / monthly basis to ensure cost and service is maintained
- Responsible for the production and presentation of the annual budget meetings
- Support the production of monthly management accounts to ensure consistency and accuracy
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Supply Chain Finance Business Partner role will bring a wealth of experience from previous roles such as Finance Analyst or Finance Business Partner. You should hold a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification and have experience in Supply Chain/Distribution finance. Your advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills will be essential for handling large data slabs and manipulation. Strong communication skills are vital for this role, along with a proven record of business challenge and support.
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification
- Experience as a Finance Analyst or Finance Business Partner
- Experience in Supply Chain/Distribution finance
- Experience managing external suppliers/stakeholders
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience with large data slabs and manipulation
- Strong communication skills with a proven record of business challenge and support
- Knowledge in sales and margin experience, business process, commercial awareness, profitability application of analytical techniques, trial analysis , promotional analysis, working capital management.
