Financial Accountant

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT Salary: 350 - 450pd Location: Milton Keynes

We are supporting a client of ours look for an experienced Financial Accountant to support them until end of March 2025 (potential to go permanent)

This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide a professional financial accounting service that inspires confidence in the reporting of financial performance and supports strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on month-end reporting, fixed assets accounting, statutory accounts production, and liaise with external auditors.

Responsibilities of this role will include:

* Preparation of financial statements for the group and its subsidiary companies

* Day-to-day management of the interim and year-end audit

* Production of climate and ESG reporting, including scope 1, 2, and 3 CO2 emissions reporting

* Day-to-day management of fixed assets accounting process

* Accounting for monthly investment portfolio valuations

* Preparation and/or review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including reconciliation of intercompany balances

* Reporting to ONS

* Working closely with Finance Business Partnering Team and other members of the Finance team on financial reporting matters

This is a hybrid role (2 days per week in the office) offering between £350 - 450pd
