Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:
- Maintain the integrity of the Group’s financial information through reconciliation and financial accounting activities.
- Deliver Group financial information accurately and on time.
- Lead the preparation of the Group VAT return.
- Serve as a role model for Assistant Accountants, providing coaching and skills development support.
- Assist the Senior Accountant with the review of junior team members’ work.
- Contribute to the Financial Control change agenda.
- Manage the preparation of subsidiary accounts for the Group.
- Foster effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in Group accounting processes.
- Ensure comprehensive process documentation is maintained for all key processes within the team.
Key essentials of the Financial Accountant:
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Proven communication and relationship-building skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
