Management Accountant
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000

Our client is seeking a Management Accountant to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with various teams, including Transactional Processing, Reporting Services, Regional Finance Managers, Commercial Analysts and Clubs. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate reporting of allocated P&L lines in the Management Accounts, contributing towards other monthly reporting requirements and related balance sheet reconciliations. This role is perfect for a self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and excellent organisational skills.

What you'll do:
As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of financial reports. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include timely reporting of your allocated P&L lines, taking full ownership of these lines, and reconciling allocated balance sheet accounts. You will also liaise with regional Finance Managers to resolve club queries and corrections promptly. Additionally, you will assist with the year-end statutory audit and conduct ad hoc analysis of allocated income lines when necessary.

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant position is a qualified accountant with recognised accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA. You have experience in month-end reporting within a finance team and possess a high level of attention to detail. Your proactive approach to problem-solving combined with strong written and verbal communication skills make you stand out. Excellent organisational skills, efficient time management, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential for this role. Strong MS Excel skills are also required.
