Key responsibilities of the Risk and Controls Specialist:
- Develop, implement, and monitor risk management and internal control frameworks.
- Assess and report on the effectiveness of controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with risk management policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits to identify potential risks and control gaps.
- Provide recommendations for risk mitigation and control enhancements.
- Prepare and present risk and control reports to senior management.
- Support the development and delivery of risk awareness training programs.
Key essentials of the Risk and Controls Specialist:
- Experience in risk management, internal controls, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- ACA or ACCA qualified
