This role offers a unique opportunity to thrive in a dynamic environment that values innovation and recognises exceptional performance. 📍 Location: Birmingham 💼 Position: Risk and Controls Specialist 📅 Full-Time 💰 Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum

Key responsibilities of the Risk and Controls Specialist:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor risk management and internal control frameworks.
  • Assess and report on the effectiveness of controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with risk management policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and internal audits to identify potential risks and control gaps.
  • Provide recommendations for risk mitigation and control enhancements.
  • Prepare and present risk and control reports to senior management.
  • Support the development and delivery of risk awareness training programs.

Key essentials of the Risk and Controls Specialist:

  • Experience in risk management, internal controls, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • ACA or ACCA qualified
