Our client, a leading manufacturing business, is seeking a Financial Accountant to manage financial accounting processes, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the business in achieving its objectives within a collaborative environment. 💰 Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:
- Oversee financial accounting processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records.
- Manage monthly and annual financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Lead the preparation of VAT returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Provide mentorship and development support to junior accounting staff.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance financial controls and support process improvements.
- Manage subsidiary accounts and contribute to group financial reporting.
- Assist in driving continuous improvement across financial systems and processes.
- Ensure all financial procedures are documented and up to date.
Key Essentials of the Financial Accountant:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with complex data
