Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a close-knit team within a well-established, growing business Retail business based in Salford. You will be working very closely with the Finance Director, being a key finance contact dealing with a variety of queries. This is a brilliant opportunity to grow and progress in your career allowing you to have a wider exposure to accounts! Study Support is also offered

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of and produce comprehensive management accounts.
• Conduct detailed analysis of variances against the budget and forecasts.
• Reconcile stock and stock adjustments.
• Produce and oversee the monthly accruals and prepayments.
• Manage the fixed assets register and associated depreciation journals.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with year-end audit preparation.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts.
• Rolling P&L forecasting including integrated working capital model
• Assisting with the annual Budget cycle and quarterly reforecast
• Rolling Cashflow forecasting

What you'll need to succeed as a Management Accountant

• Part qualified with only a few exams remaining.
• Highly motivated and self-driven individual with excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• In-depth understanding of FP&A
• Able to work independently.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Positive attitude towards work.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proven skills in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and to be able to manipulate large set of data.
• Great team player.
• Have proven experience of working to tight deadlines.
