The Management Accountant will be responsible for producing accurate, relevant and timely reporting for Senior Management to support performance management and ensure that controls, processes and flow of financial information is accurate and effective.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts • Posting of month end journals • Month end reconciliations • Preparation of full P&L and Balance Sheet • Contributing to annual budgeting and planning process • Preparation of VAT return • Delivery weekly financial data and reporting in line with business needs • Reviewing accounting processes and practices • Managing forecasts to assist business planning and decision-making • Liaising with external auditors
• Previous experience in similar role • Ability to work well under pressure and meet reporting deadlines • Strong communication skills, analytical skills and organisational skills • A good team player with the skills to manage, develop and implement new working practices and systems • Keen eye for detail and provide accurate information • Advanced Excel required, confident in working with large data sets • Strong general IT skills and MS Office

Based in our client’s impressive City Centre offices, they are looking for a qualified accountant who enjoys working within a high performing and supportive environment.
Reporting to the Senior Financial Reporting Accountant, this varied finance role will support in the production of monthly and quarterly reporting packs in accordance with internal & group reporting deadlines. You’ll utilise your accounting background to ensure the timely submission of our client’s financials, whilst building strong working relationships across the team and providing analysis on key information.
The purpose of the Management Accountant role is to be responsible for the divisional overheads and support the Divisional Finance Manager in the consolidation of the divisional contract results and cashflow management of the division.
