My client, one of the leading security companies in the North West, are looking to hire a Finance Manager/ Finance Business Partner to join their very impressive head office.
Key responsibilities include-
• Working alongside the Senior Finance Business partner (SFPB), to help drive both Operational and Financial Performance of the Digital, Data & Infrastructure Service Delivery Unit (SDU) in the COO Operations business and to deliver both short- and long-term plans and targets • Support the SFBP to drive ongoing performance improvement across the Digital, Data & Infrastructure SDU and associated functions which includes building relationships across the multi-functional domain at senior level • Provide support to the 5-year business plan process which includes defining strategies and setting expected level of performance, ensuring that there is adequate funding for business change and functional improvement activities • Work collaboratively and build relationships with key external & internal stakeholders ensuring plans communicated clearly • Engaging cross functionally, with Senior Managers and Budget Holders, to drive business improvements for Information Management and Technology (IM&T) • Use business acumen to provide financial challenge of any new business activity for Digital, Data & Infrastructure teams to enable approval of pricing proposals and delivery of the business strategy balancing customer need with maximising shareholder value
• Qualified Accountant CIMA/ACCA/ACA • Demonstrated ability to influence the business with a proactive and inquisitive nature • Ability to explain financial issues to non-Finance staff and to distil complex issues, opportunities and challenges in a succinct, compelling narrative
• Experience as a Finance Business Partner engaging with non-Finance staff and providing decision support to stakeholders • Experience in supporting the delivery of long-term complex programmes/projects • Experience in establishing and driving programme performance through integrated teams
