My client, an established organisation HQ’d in Nuneaton, is recruiting a Interim Financial Accountant you will be a key point of contact as the business works to streamline and future-proof the finance reporting function reporting into the Group Financial Controller. Day Rate - £300 - £350 Contract - 3-6 Months 3 Days On-Site

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of Group monthly results and supporting analysis;
• Preparation of Group Consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow monthly
• Ownership of management reporting within the business;
• Liaison with joint venture finance teams on reporting;
• Preparation, review and co-ordination on the Group executive reporting to the Board
• Review of daily numbers and assisting the business with reporting accurate numbers, with gap analysis to each financial period
• Owning the Group forecast model (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow)
• Assist the Group Financial Controller with budget preparation, forecasting balance sheets and cash flows.
• Assist the Group Financial Controller on any adhoc external group reporting required
• Liaising with external auditors and internal Financial Controllers to ensure the process is efficient and completed in timely manner
• Preparation of annual financial statements and preparation of group tax returns

Key Requirements

• Must be highly competent in preparing management accounts and costing activities
• Margin Analysis & MI Reporting packs
• An Ability to work under own initiative and proactively solve problems
• Ability to meet strict reporting deadlines & proactively manage workload
• Communication skills are critical across all levels of the business
• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
• A “Can do” attitude
