Robert Walters are delighted to have partnered with a well-established and award-winning Financial Services Institution, who are searching for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join their growing team. We are looking for a talented hands-on individual, who is inquisitive and has a desire to grow and develop within the business. The role will be based in Reading.

The Financial Reporting Accountant will be responsible for:

- Monthly analysis of Income statement and balance sheets for the group, and perform reconciliations as required.
- Involved in Month-end and Year-end reporting processes to ensure compliance with IFRS.
- Work and get involved with the wider business including stakeholders to provide advice and guidance.
- Be the driving force behind new change and process, making continuous improvements within the business.

The Successful Applicant will have:

- ACCA / ACA / CA / CIMA Qualified or Finalist.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to challenge out of date practices.
- Proven experience in preparing IFRS financial statements is essential.
- Solid understanding of Excel and other Microsoft applications.
- Comfortable with speaking with Senior Managers and Stakeholder to influence decisions.
- Good working knowledge of Oracle and HFM would be advantageous.
