Role Details – Financial Accountant
We are looking for a proactive Financial Accountant to join an excellent business based in Leicestershire on a permanent basis.
The hiring manager is looking for a personable and driven individual who will be an attribute to the finance team.
You will be responsible for:
• Supporting stakeholders
• Preparing monthly financial statements
• Liasing with auditors, consolidating and reviewing statements
• Liasing with local accountant partners
Role responsibilities of Financial Accountant • Supporting with financial statements and working with auditors, tax, accountants and legal partners • Consolidation and preparation as well as analysis of statements • Being self-driven and working with little supervision towards the team and company purpose • Assisting with accounting policies and queries • Ensuring alignment between operations and finance
Skills required of the Financial Accountant • Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW) with 1-2 years PQE • Excellent communication, interpersonal and empathy skills • Great experience working with finance accounting • Enjoy being hands on and working with both fine details and the bigger picture
