90% of finance professionals expect a bonus

We surveyed 261 professionals working within the finance functions of investment management firms and the results show that confidence is high, with seven in ten thinking about moving jobs. Almost 30% are actively looking for a new job at the moment so we anticipate increased jobs movement in the new year.

Bonus levels
89% of investment management professionalsare expecting a bonus this year. In terms of anticipated amounts, 89% are expecting a bonus of 6% or more of their salary and 73% say they are expecting more than 10%. 

Despite most firms moving to a greater weighting of fixed rather than variable compensation, seven per cent of people still expect a bonus of 80% of their salary.  However, most are now much more realistic in their expectations and 58% are satisfied with the new compensation weightings.
