Capsule Tech's flagship product, DataCaptor, provides an interface between standalone and/or networked medical devices and hospital information systems. DataCaptor collects, decodes and distributes all medical data made available at the digital communication port of the medical device. This generic solution is available to clinical software vendors, system integrators and device manufacturers, as well as hospitals. With built in support for 400+ diverse medical devices, DataCaptor includes the largest library of medical device interfaces available in today's market.
Due to continued growth, Capsule are recruiting a Regional Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland. Reporting to the VP Sales EMEA, this is a key hire to continue to grow sales of Capsule Technologie products in to the UK healthcare sector. The successful candidate can be based anywhere in the UK or Ireland and will be responsible for increasing sales of Capsule medical device connectivity solutions to Hospitals throughout the region.
Responsibilities:
- Sell Capsule Technologie products and services
- manage existing customers' accounts
- offer Capsule Technologie products and services to potential or existing customers
- generate as many leads as possible on assigned territory
- negotiate and close sales, in agreement with the Company's sales policy
- implement market adapted approach to reach sales targets
- manage existing customers' relationship in order to maximise their satisfaction and Capsule Technologie's profit
- report any interesting market information to the Marketing Manager and VP of Sales EMEA
- report deals status in the Sales Portfolio and participate in the weekly Sales Meetings
The successful candidate will have a background of more than five years selling medical devices or IT services into the healthcare sector. You will ideally have
- knowledge of working in a hospital environment either as a nurse, IT or biomedical engineer followed by a medical sales role
- a background in negotiating with high level, senior executives within the healthcare space
- a good understanding of the organisation, process and workflow within hospital care units
- a degree or equivalent exposure within the healthcare sector i.e. Qualified nurse
- flexibility to travel throughout the UK and Ireland and up to 10 to 15% travel abroad, mostly to France for the sales meetings and other company events
- sales of Electronic Patient Records (EPR),Electronic Medical Records(EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) solutions to hospitals would be a distinct advantage
