Operational Risk and Regulatory Analyst
*** Candidate with operational risk/regulatory risk experience needed for top Stock Broking firm ***
You will work to improve the quality and timeliness of the Group’s risk management and the reporting, maintenance and development of the Group’s risk policies.
On a daily basis you will work on the completion of risk & control assessments, documenting findings and identifying improvements.
Responsibilities include:
• Maintenance and development of the Group’s operational risk practices
• Completion of risk & control reviews in conjunction with Compliance & Internal Audit departments
• Recording risk & control assessments on Group’s ERM software
• Documenting findings and identifying improvements
• Completion of risk & control assessments with directors and department heads
• Maintenance of the Group’s ERM software
• Other ad hoc work within the department as required
Skills required:
• Previous experience of working in Operational Risk
• Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management
• FSA regulations including operational risk and ICAAP
• Intermediate Excel, including ability to set up and manipulate spreadsheets, is essential.
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong academic background, preferably to degree level
• May be studying for a recognised risk or accountancy qualification
