MUSI is now seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) VP to be a key member of the management accounts team, integral to developing the ongoing structure and strategy of the function. This additional resource has been created to increase the value offered to the business by Finance and will be extremely visible to senior business management across the EMEA platform. The FP&A VP will manage a small team to add value by delivering flexible forecasting and planning to the business. You will be responsible for:
• developing the revenue forecast function, including provision of innovative reporting and enhanced system solutions
• creating budgets and business plans across all trading desks
• providing business analysis to support strategic decisions
• partnering with the business to identify practical cost efficiencies
• developing relationships with business heads and senior management within London and across MUFG
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or overseas equivalent) who demonstrates budgeting and forecasting experience within financial services. Knowledge of capital market products, including derivatives, is critical and experience with Oracle, Business Objects or Cognos would be desirable. You must display the drive and tenacity to meet and exceed goals and demonstrate evidence of your ability to challenge assumptions and implement change.
