Group Financial Controller
MAM Funds plc (MAM) is an AIM listed fund management group trading under the Midas Capital Partners, Acuim and Miton Asset Management brands. MAM has offices in Reading, Liverpool and London. The last 12 months have been an exciting period in the Group's development. Highlights include a new £20 million equity raising and a number of key appointments to the Board including Executive Chairman, Managing Director and Group Finance Director.
MAM Funds Plc is now poised to enter a new phase of growth and an outstanding opportunity has now arisen for a Group Financial Controller. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the day to day smooth running of the finance function
- Timely and effective production of the monthly management accounts including commentary and analysis
- Production of statutory accounts and annual report working with the Group FD and other colleagues.
- Production of Group Annual Budgets and rolling Forecasts
- FSA returns
- All corporate tax returns (in conjunction with tax advisors)
- Ad hoc project work and commercial support in conjunction with the Group FD.
- Liaison with external advisors including auditors
Applicants must hold a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or overseas equivalent) with a strong technical knowledge of IFRS and PLC reporting requirements. You must be detail orientated, well organised, possess strong communication skills being comfortable communicating across all levels of the Group.
