Due to continued growth, a new position has been created within the Group legal team to be responsible for all regulatory related issues. This opportunity is a chance to establish and lead the regulatory function within the growing business and engage with senior management on all related topics. You will be responsible for driving legislation; ensuring and implementing compliance policies and procedures; representing the business at regulatory forums and providing advice on international requirements. You will ensure that regulatory risk is minimised and Lebara’s assets are protected. This is a highly autonomous and visible role that will require a thorough understanding of the industry.
Key requirements and responsibilities:
A proven track record as a qualified legal or regulatory professional with a broad knowledge across disciplines, within the telecoms industry
Ability to promote Lebara’s best interests at regulatory forums and authorities
Experience of ensuring businesses operate in compliance with statutory and regulatory policies
Provide clear and coherent advice and reports to the business on regulatory developments
Assist with additional legal commercial issues
Strong communication skills
Willingness to travel internationally
