The Accounting Centre has responsibility for Restaurant Accounting, Invoice Management and Cash Management. Reporting directly to the Accounting Centre Supervisor, the Senior Accounts Coordinator will provide support and guidance to McDonald’s restaurants, departments and suppliers on all financial matters to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the financial statements. Key responsibilities
- Effectively carry out all duties associated with the accounting processes to prepare accurate
monthly financial statements for all company owned restaurants, departments and other areas of
responsibility.
- Proactively provide a high standard of customer service to all internal and external customers.
- Provide support to cross functional teams as requested; both within the department and broader
business.
- Provide guidance, training and support to other members of the Accounting Centre team.
- Maintain internal control procedures to safeguard the financial integrity of the company.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be customer focused and be able to work effectively within a team to achieve maximum performance. With customer contact driving workload the candidate must be able to multi-task and apply a common sense approach to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. In addition the candidate will have a high degree of problem solving skills and be proficient in Excel and Outlook. Although not essential previous accounts experience, a qualification in AAT or overseas equivalent would be desirable. Candidates with Utilities experience will be at an advantage.
