Robert Walters have been instructed by an international FTSE 250 business to source a Senior Treasury Manager. Reporting into the Group Treasurer, this high profile role will have significant exposure to the Executive Board and divisional Finance Directors with increasing scope to deputise for the Group Treasurer as appropriate.

Combining the key tasks which routinely need to be undertaken within a Treasury department, together with a significant amount of value adding project work, key tasks will include:
• Review and complete the cash pooling structures worldwide
• Work with the Group Treasurer on alternative sources of funding
• Improving the utilisation of the Treasury System , IT2, with the objective of automating more processes.
• Create stronger relationships with business units on all treasury matters
• Identify opportunities to add value through banking products and implement as appropriate
• Placing foreign exchange trades and monitoring business unit and head office foreign exchange exposures – recording all FX trades on the IT2 Treasury System
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly cash reports, participate in monthly cash calls with business units and place any surplus funds
• Record all treasury cash flows into cash books, code up and reconcile to bank statements
• Manage intercompany loan portfolio

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate experience and proven successes in the Treasury arena. You will be competent enough to get up to speed quickly with the routine and focus on project work thereafter. Perhaps you are a qualified Accountant or Treasurer? You will have excellent communication skills, excellent IT / systems experience and be confident enough to present at Board level. Salary will be commensurate with the level of experience, somewhere between £45k - £60k + an excellent benefits and bonus package.
