An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Management Accountant to join a leading Northampton based FMCG / Retail business. This is a great chance to join an industry leading business where successful applicants will be exposed to the highest levels of management and decision making
Processes. The primary purpose to support the Sales & Marketing function in the front end of the business to drive profitable sales growth whilst managing cash flow
It is expected that you will provide strong support to the Sales Team in contract negotiations with key retailers on own label and branded business. You will provide commercial support to Ingredients business channel, support Marketing team in evaluation of investment brands & Manage sales (value and volume) rolling 12 month forecast. You will support the preparation of budgets and quarterly standards (due to volatility of commodities and forex standards are set every quarter in the business)
Ideally you will have significant exposure to FMCG / Retail industries, you will ideally be a Qualified accountant, or overseas equivalent. You will need to “think on your feet” & make decisions with strong bias towards commercial.
