Robert Walters have been instructed to shortlist for a Divisional Management Accountant on behalf of a Multi-National Engineering organisation in the South Midlands. A market leader in their field, this global business offers excellent career progression for the right individual.
As Divisional Management Accountant you will report into the Divisional Financial Controller. You will have a wide ranging and varied role with key responsibilities being:
Full P&L and Balance Sheet responsibility for your division
Liaison with divisional management to review monthly results
Working with senior management to understand the monthly results and to challenge / validate underlying assumptions for actuals, forecasts, budgets and costing
Margin Analysis and general stock work including the steam lining of processes
Varied project work to improve business performance
To be successful for this Management Accountant role you will either be a finalist or recently qualified Accountant. Having worked in Industry you will have experience of management reporting and a passion to work with operations to improve business performance. You will be a strong character with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. An excellent benefits package is offered along with a basic salary of £30k - £35k.
