Robert Walters have been instructed to shortlist a Commercial Finance Manager on behalf of a highly regarded FMCG company. You will brief business partners on all aspects of commercial and financial trading policy, profit performance and credit management, identifying the key drivers.
In addition to exceptional financial acumen and commercial flair, the ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or overseas equivalent) with experience in a mini-operational environment, preferably within FMCG. You’ll also demonstrate the skills that define a true leader, including strong influencing, interpersonal and team working skills, and exceptional people management abilities.
This is an excellent opportunity to play an integral part in shaping business strategy and have financial control over an ambitious Sales & Marketing Operation.
As Commercial Finance Manager your responsibilities will be:
• Provide Operational, commercial and financial support and leadership.
• Performance manage your sales team, providing coaching and feedback on deal structuring, new financial initiatives, financial analysis and market trends
• Work closely with sales managers to ensure that commercial deals are protected from financial risk
• Provide robust financial analysis to central functions, identifying opportunities to minimise costs and risks, and optimise revenues
• Analyse market developments ensuring that best practice is implemented
