IP LEGAL COUNSEL

With exciting new ventures and high level branding requirements around the world, a new specialist position has been created for the management of the Group’s IP. Reporting directly to The General Counsel, you will be expected to provide strategic advice on the protection and exploitation of the Group’s IP rights, development of new brands and build relationships with trade mark agents across the globe.

Key requirements include:

•Experience in managing litigation, brand enforcement and assisting with domain name recovery

•Proven experience of trade mark prosecution

•The ability to develop a suite of top class in-house IP documents

•First class presentation skills to provide internal seminars on key IP issues

•You may have a minimum of 2 years PQE but this does not preclude someone with more qualified experience from applying for the role

•Training from a recognised law firm or experience in-house as an IP specialist

•Experience in an internet gaming company would be highly advantageous

This is a fantastic opportunity for a private practice lawyer who is looking to make the move to an in-house position or a lawyer who has already moved in-house. You will be joining a supportive team of experienced lawyers and will work with people at senior management Levels across the business.

Located on the Isle of Man, you will receive a generous salary in a jurisdiction with a low top rate of income tax (currently the top rate of tax is 18%) together with a highly competitive benefits package.
