My client is a large international business with an enviable reputation for customer loyalty and service satisfaction. The business is expected to grow significantly over the next few years and is looking to strengthen its existing team with the appointment of a high calibre Financial Controller.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer this is a broad and challenging role where the incumbent will gain exposure to corporate accounting for a multimillion-pound turnover business; acquisitions (both UK and international) for the group and division, as well as tax, VAT and treasury.

There will also be operational involvement in an overseas division, together with project accounting. Applicants considered for this role will Big 4 trained ACA and must have an exceptional academic background, and have the ability to demonstrate clear career progression to date.

You must have a commercial approach to finance, be able to work in a rapidly changing environment, and also have the interpersonal skills to influence and build relationships with a diverse group of business professionals.
