The business is focused on delivering great service to a significant customer base. Services include; pest control, catering, cleaning, washroom solutions, textiles and interior landscaping.
The Finance Shared Service facility (SSC) for Rentokil in the UK employs over 200 staff providing centralised management of Credit Control, Cash Collection, Accounts Payable and Payroll, Finance and Management Information. The SSC has made significant progress as it strives to achieve ‘world class’ efficiency and effectiveness through the delivery of major systems and process improvement changes.
As the company continue to introduce more business into the SSC, Rentokil are seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to lead the operation. Reporting to the Finance Director you will play a key role in both the ongoing development of the SSC and the management of stakeholder relationships across the Rentokil Group. We seek a candidate with the following attributes:
• Proven capability in leading a high transaction volume finance shared services operation with a track record significant performance improvement and exceeding business goals & targets
• A decisive leader who will motivate and engage staff to further build the culture of ‘continuous improvement’ embracing best practice and fulfilling potential
• Prior project management leadership experience in the delivery of new systems and processes such as P2P and Cash to Order
• A finance or business qualification such as CIMA / MBA
• A background of dealing with large complex payrolls and or facilities would be advantageous
• Personal attributes sought include concern for order & quality, driven by achieving results through teamwork, proven negotiating and influencing skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions
