My client is on the world’s largest institutional investors and has holdings across multiple sectors, geographies and asset classes, including public listed equities, fixed income, real estate, and private equity. The assets of this organisation are considerable, with the real estate division being in excess of $30bn. These positions will sit within the specialist finance team that serves the Real Estate Department, the part of the group that manages the fund’s international portfolio of ‘direct’ and ‘indirect’ property investments. A number of junior and senior finance positions have become available, requiring an ACA, CPA, ACCA or CIMA. Real Estate is required for this role.



This is one of the Senior Financial Controllership positions within the Department, geared towards a particular geographical region or property type. Within this role, the requirement is to assist in building and managing a Team of professionals capable of implementing a comprehensive Controllership function in order to effectively support the Business Strategy. The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with Key Stakeholders.



*Work as part of an integrated Finance function by implementing the Departments’ Accounting and Financial Control function

*Manage and develop key internal relationships with the following departments: Internal Audit, Treasury, Accounts, others

*Manage and develop key external relationships with Asset Managers, Bookkeepers, Trustees, Auditors and other relevant parties

*Coordinate financial stewardship of investment and corporate structures in close coordination with other functions within the Real Estate Department

*Implement and maintain sound financial policies and procedures

*Coordinate and review the ongoing financial reporting process as well as regulatory and tax compliance in close coordination with the separate compliance function

*Coordinate annual budget and the year-end audit process for a particular geographical region and/or sub-asset class

*Ensure maintenance of an up-to-date corporate database for all entities within the respective region/ line of business
