Reporting to: Claims Department Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage between 5-10 Area Claims Managers responsible for Private Motor claims in the UK
• Review, analyse and ensure targets are measured and met on KPI’s within each Area Claims Managers responsibility
• Manage claims aspect of key client relationships; i.e.: Periodic meetings/claims reviews, etc.
• Work closely with analytical and reporting team regarding quality of reporting, internal controls/checks, etc.
• Liaise with HR directly on managing and planning staffing requirements
• Responsibility for 3rd Party supplier relationships
• Manage and review Area Claims Managers RCM performance/workload; attend and chair regional meetings
• Ensure Area Claims Managers are conducting claims meetings and addressing RCM issues, highlighted from operational reports and feedback obtained from RCM’s
• Review and improve existing procedures & implement new ones if required
• Work closely with Fraud team on theft and suspicious claims
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and recommend appropriate courses of action
• Ability to influence Senior Management with regard to future strategy
• Report periodically to Senior Management on department performance
