An outstanding opportunity has arisen with a key client of Robert Walters, who are recruiting a UK Financial Controller to head up a large shared service centre based in Coventry, West Midlands.
The UK Financial Controller will be responsible for the following;
The management of sizeable finance teams across various UK sites and providing leadership and development to these teams
The planning and management of major projects, ensuring that that they are in accordance with quality systems requirements, cost structures and budgetary requirements.
To pursue the continuous improvement of the organisations financial procedures, policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate for this role will;
Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or overseas equivalent)
Have extensive experience in managing large teams and running financial processes
Have a well developed understanding of financial and management accounting, including VAT, Tax and large financial transactional systems
Boast strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating great communication skills in order to influence and persuade relevant stakeholders at a senior level.
