What do secretarial professionals think about pay rates?

Robert walters surveyed 200 secretarial and support professionals working within commerce and industry. The
results highlight that although pay rise and bonus expectations are consistent with last year’s figures, the outlook for increased hiring activity is encouraging.

The outlook for the commerce and industry sector remains reasonably positive with pay rises and bonus expectations in line with last year’s figures.

Many believe payments will be a result of personal performance rather than company profits. Nearly two thirds of support professionals intend to change roles following bonuses.

This suggests there is greater recruitment activity as a consequence of sustained confidence in commerce and industry sectors.
